Dōjō kun
Our vision is to preserve the traditional martial art while promoting personal development, fostering a sense of discipline, respect, and integrity, as well as strengthening member's minds, bodies, and spirits through techniques focused on self-defense and lifelong health.
Always bow in when you enter the dojo and bow out when you leave the dojo.
Always bow before and after you speak to your Sensei.
All students must bow and thank student leaders before and after training with them.
Always arrive before class begins. If you are late, bow in and sit in seiza until one of the Sensei asks you to enter.
Never talk in class. If you have questions, student must rei (bow) to their Sensei and can ask questions.
Profanity, Chewing gum, leaning on the wall are disrespectful behavior and must be avoided.
Unless approved by Sensei, no form of jewelry is allowed to be worn while training. This is for your own safety.
Watches are NOT allowed during training.
Respect your karategi. Keep your karategi clean, and all students must wear our Karate patch.
All inner wear must be either white or black. No other colors permitted. Student may be asked to sit by the Sensei if otherwise.
Do not ask your Sensei to be tested. When a student is ready, Sensei will let student know.
